A company is seeking a Senior Associate Paralegal, Patent Operations for a full-time, remote position in the United States to support its Patent Law group.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain patent prosecution dockets for U.S. and foreign patent portfolios, including reviewing and docketing correspondence from patent offices
Coordinate international filings, manage payment of annuities, and ensure completion of country-specific formalities
Prepare reports through IP Management Software, serve as a resource on patent law rules and regulations, and manage invention disclosure processing
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of IP docketing experience or Associate’s degree with 6 years of IP docketing experience or High school diploma/GED with 8 years of IP docketing experience
Associate/baccalaureate degree or completion of an ABA-approved legal assistant/paralegal program preferred
4+ years of intellectual property experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector preferred
US and Foreign patent prosecution experience preferred
Proficiency with Anaqua docketing system preferred
