A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Auditor II
Key Responsibilities:
Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment
Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for recommendation and findings
Utilize industry-recognized references to support review findings
Required Qualifications:
Current AHIMA credentials of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS
ICD-10 auditing and DRG reimbursement experience
Additional CDI credentials such as CDIP and/or CCDS preferred
Previous experience training and mentoring coders/auditors
Experience with multiple EMR Systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech
