A company is looking for an Assistant Faculty in Sociology – Online (Part-Time).
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments, respond appropriately, and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
Assist in managing student communications and grading, monitor engagement levels, and provide student support as needed
Develop supplemental support documents, videos, and job aids, and perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Sociology or Criminal Justice required
Master’s degree in any area with 18 semester or 27 quarter hours of graduate coursework in Sociology or Criminal Justice required
Professional experience in the field of study preferred, along with previous teaching experience
Online teaching experience preferred, and experience within the criminal justice field is preferred
Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required
