A company is looking for a Standards Aligner in Social Studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret state educational standards and curriculum documents
Identify the IXL skills that best help students meet the goals of each standard
Evaluate how closely IXL skills match textbook sections and suggest adjustments
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in history, a social science, education, or related field
1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
Strong knowledge of K-12 educational terminology and social studies content
Ideally knowledge of content in 1+ other subjects (math, ELA, or science)
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
