A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Batch Compute
Key Responsibilities:
Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions for high-scale, distributed systems
Innovate and implement software solutions to improve resiliency, reliability, and efficiency of batch processing infrastructure
Contribute towards the re-architecture of current infrastructure for increased efficiency and resilience
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of professional hands-on software development experience
Proven track record in building large scale distributed systems and making data-driven design decisions
Experience in operational maintenance of large-scale distributed systems
Experience building and operating infrastructure and tools for developers to deliver business value
Track record of open source contributions to data processing or big data systems
