Hire Resolveโ€™s Client, a great mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for a skilled Principal Mining Engineer โ€“ Open Pit to join their mining team.ย 

๐‘๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Mine Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in open pit mining across operations, corporate engineering, consulting, and major project studies.
  • Professional certification or registration or in process of obtaining as a Chartered Engineer or equivalent in mining engineering.
  • Proven track record in delivering advanced mining studies (PFS and Feasibility Studies) to an industry-leading standard.
  • Extensive expertise in strategic planning, cut-off grade optimization, mine design, scheduling, and pit optimization.
  • Proficiency in mining software applications, including Deswik and Whittle.
  • High degree of technical open pit mining expertise and business acumen.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others in a technical team-based environment.
  • English language proficiency (Bilingual in French is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams across different operational and corporate environments
