Overview

Ster-Kinekor is seeking a Multi Skilled Employee to join the team at Garden Route Mall in George. This role requires flexibility to work across various cinema functions including Cashier at Box Office Sales, Catering Sales or Collections, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other function as requested by a supervisor.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering an exceptional cinema experience by ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as Cashier at Box Office, Catering Sales, or Collections
• Perform duties as Cinema Assistant, Waiter, or in food preparation areas
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ster-Kinekor products and promotions to upsell effectively
• Ensure presentation standards are maintained (posters, age restrictions, disclaimers, displays)
• Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items according to quality standards
• Assist with shift preparation where required
• Maintain product quality and integrity at all times
• Ensure personal presentation and professional conduct
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, counters, and storerooms
• Ensure proper sealing, packaging, and storage of prepared products
• Submit health and safety reports as required
• Adhere to uniform and preparation standards to ensure safety

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• 0 – 1 year experience in a similar role (advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
• VISTA system knowledge advantageous
