Overview
The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting applications for 49 Client Service Officer: Paymaster posts across various Labour Centres and Satellite Offices in the Eastern Cape.
The purpose of the role is to provide client screening services, process UIF benefit applications, and perform administrative duties in line with relevant legislation and departmental policies. This is an entry-level opportunity as no experience is required.
Key Duties
- Provide screening services to clients
- Process applications for UIF Benefits
- Register payment continuation forms
- Perform administrative duties
- Deliver services in line with Batho Pele Principles
- Ensure compliance with UIF legislation and departmental procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- No experience required
Knowledge Requirements
- Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations
- Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- Departmental and UIF Policies and Procedures
- Treasury Regulations
