A company is looking for a Middleware Cloud Engineer to work remotely in the US, focusing on designing, setting up, and managing middleware infrastructure in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage secure, scalable, and highly available middleware infrastructure for enterprise applications in cloud and on-premise environments
Install, configure, and troubleshoot a variety of middleware applications including OpenShift, GitLab, CloudVault, among others
Automate middleware infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible, GitLab, and Python, and provide 24/7 on-call support for production environments
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree or, in lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience
6-8 years of relevant work experience, including experience with OpenShift, GitLab, CloudVault, commercial cloud environments, and automation/code writing
Experience based on ITIL framework and familiarity with service operation model and practices
Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a government background check for a Public Trust clearance
Commercial cloud familiarity with platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP is preferred
