A company is looking for a Clinical Scientist I – The Gene Team (REMOTE, USA or Hybrid).
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate medical literature to assess gene disease validity and molecular mechanisms of disease
Assist with data analysis, compilation, and writing for public databases and research publications
Collate information for gene-related and syndrome-related projects
Required Qualifications:
PhD and/or MD in molecular genetics, human genetics, or related field; or MS in molecular biology with exceptional expertise
Good understanding of scientific and medical literature
Prior experience with gene curation or relevant genetics experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic/clinical laboratory setting for MS; 5+ years preferred
