Overview:
Truworths is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Duty DC Driver to join its distribution team in Epping. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods across Truworths’ supply chain, ensuring punctual deliveries and professional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and collections.
-Maintain cleanliness and security of company vehicles.
-Ensure all vehicles are sealed before departing with finished goods.
-Assist with the physical loading and offloading of stock when necessary.
-Adhere strictly to road rules and speed limits.
-Deliver valuable goods only to authorized recipients.
-Report vehicle faults and delivery issues promptly.
-Uphold safety and housekeeping standards as per company requirements.
-Participate in Toolbox Talks and complete required checklists.
-Provide respectful and professional service throughout the supply chain.
-Support various departments operationally when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
