Lord, we pray for the courage and the strength of faith to forgive one another as you did.
It is really hard to forgive, but help us to walk BOLDLY in your way – the way of Christ. We forgive because we are forgiven!
Yes, 70 x 70 makes it a stupendous 490 times, but create in us a heart for the broken and selfish. Let us not look at them with content but with empathy – understanding that the only reason they are reacting this way is because they do not know your ways. They do not KNOW YOU!
Open our eyes to see the cry for help behind the actions – help us to reach out besides being hurt and spitefully ripped into.
I choose to forgive! I choose to love! I choose YOU!
