Purpose of the Job
To ensure continuous plant availability through effective maintenance and support of HVAC equipment and related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards
- Perform maintenance on HVAC and related equipment
- Wash filters and HVAC units
- Clean cooling towers
- Sand and paint HVAC units and equipment
- Clean storerooms, plant rooms and HVAC yards
- Carry tools and equipment within allowable limits
- Operate mobile WAP high-pressure machines on trailer
Minimum Requirements
Education
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3
- Ability to communicate and correspond in English
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB required; EC1 advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Experience in an Electrical or HVAC environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
