Position Details
Post Title: Road Worker
Salary: R12,929 per month (Level 03)

Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 1 (Grade 9 and above) or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and teamwork abilities.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Planning and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will engage in diverse road maintenance and construction activities, including:
- Building culverts and side drains.
- Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions.
- Performing road earth and layer works.
- Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks, and resting areas.
- Surfacing roads and patching potholes.
- Setting up road markings, studs, and signs.
- Installing distance markers and barricades for work zones.
- Conducting brush clearing, grass cutting, and fencing repairs.
