Hire Resolve’s client in the IT industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Data Science Consultant for a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of data science projects.
  • Deliver strategic data insights and recommendations.
  • Develop data-driven strategies with clients.
  • Understand and address client business needs.
  • Drive business growth through data solutions.
  • Define the scope of data science projects.
  • Manage the delivery of analytics projects.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Collect, clean, and analyse diverse datasets.
  • Apply statistical and ML techniques for insights.
  • Build predictive models and forecasting tools.
  • Measure the impact of data initiatives.
  • Stay updated on data trends and share knowledge.
  • Analyse client businesses and market trends.
  • Enhance platform intelligence and data products.
  • Maximize value from client data collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Data Science, Engineering, Maths, Stats, or Computer Science (postgraduate preferred).
  • 2+ years strategic/management consulting with data focus.
  • 5+ years mid-senior data science, leading projects.
  • Azure Data Scientist Associate or equivalent (advantageous).
  • Banking/insurance pricing/risk model experience (advantageous).
  • Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of data management and visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong skills in statistical methods, ML, and data mining.
  • Azure Synapse Analytics and ML experience (advantageous).
  • PySpark/Azure Synapse distributed computing experience (advantageous).
  • Delta Lake/Databricks or modern data lakehouse experience (strong advantage).
  • Proven experience designing Synapse Pipelines (SQL, Spark, APIs, orchestration).
  • Excellent strategic and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
