Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established and fast-growing engineering consultancy that specializes in delivering innovative structural and civil engineering solutions, is currently seeking a Senior Rebar Detailer to join their dynamic team based in Boksburg, Gauteng.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in rebar detailing with strong proficiency in Revit and a solid background in producing accurate and efficient reinforcement drawings for a variety of civil and structural projects.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and detailed reinforcement drawings and bending schedules using Revit and other BIM software.

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create comprehensive rebar detailing models.

  • Collaborate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure detailing meets design intent and project requirements.

  • Review and check drawings for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.

  • Assist in resolving detailing-related issues during the construction phase.

  • Maintain documentation and manage project files efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rebar detailing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

  • Proficient in Revit with a solid understanding of BIM workflows.

  • Relevant technical qualification or diploma in drafting or structural detailing.

  • Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing codes and practices (e.g., SANS, BS, ACI).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
