A company based in Palo Alto is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team, with the role requiring hybrid work with in-office days 2+ days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with company leadership to deliver the mission of building a financial system that works for everyday people
Create a roadmap and drive its implementation with the team across the company
Recruit other engineers for the team, mentor and coach the engineers in the team, and manage cross-functional relationships with all teams to deliver high-quality products
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of development experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a management capacity leading teams
Experience managing a team of 4 or more engineers that regularly created high-quality output on top of critical infrastructure
Ability to work comfortably with a cross-functional team made up of PMs, Analysts, and both mobile and back-end-focused engineers
Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment in which everyone is supported, encouraged, and meaningfully challenged
Software engineer who became a manager due to excellent people skills and a desire to expand what can be achieved while helping others grow in their careers
