Job Title: Driver Code 10 (Professional Driver)

Overview:
Phakisa Holdings is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Code 10 Professional Driver for its Germiston operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical and oil products, while ensuring full compliance with transport and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate Code 10 vehicles to transport hazardous materials (fuel, oil, chemicals) to various destinations
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and load inspections to ensure safety and compliance
-Complete all trip documentation, including logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery notes
-Load and offload hazardous goods in accordance with health and safety protocols
-Maintain delivery schedules and strictly follow assigned routes
-Report any traffic violations, vehicle defects, or incidents immediately
-Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
-Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) procedures and PPE requirements
Minimum Requirements:
–Educational Qualification: Matric / Grade 12
–License: Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) for Dangerous Goods
–Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience transporting fuel, chemicals, or hazardous materials
–Record: Clean criminal and driving record
-Must have passed medical and drug screening tests
-Must possess a valid assessment letter
-Good verbal and written communication skills
