Job Description: the
South African Breweries (SAB) is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our dynamic team. The key purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment and related processes to achieve optimal effectiveness.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
– Operating equipment and managing associated processes & performance in packaging.
– Interpreting and implementing the production plan for the shift.
– Operating manual and automatic machines on the line as per standards.
– Ensuring process quality and productivity.
– Ensuring hygiene and food safety compliance.
– Performing administration work such as tracking and monitoring processes and taking action when required.
– Managing PIMS & POMS and taking corrective action on negative trends.
– Using OFR’s (As per triggers).
– Contributing towards AB reports as required.
–Ensuring and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
– Grade 12 qualification.
– Minimum 9 months on-the-job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months
– Experience within a Packaging FMCG industry.
