A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, scale, secure, and maintain on-prem relational and non-relational database systems
Perform operational DBA duties including installation, upgrades, patching, and monitoring
Guide engineering teams on performance tuning, query optimization, and database design impacts
Required Qualifications
Deep knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL infrastructure, both on-prem and in cloud
Experience with mission-critical production database systems
Proven track record of automating tasks
Working knowledge of relational database internals
Systems engineering experience, including Linux performance and configuration
