A company is looking for a Senior IBM i Systems Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Remediation of server incidents, service restoration, and overseeing incident and request queues
Reducing repeating incidents, handling technical infrastructure projects, and collaborating with various groups
Installing operating system patches, maintaining server hardware and software environments, and possessing an understanding of network design
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years’ experience in IBM i, iSeries, AS/400 System Administration
Demonstrated experience in various IBM systems hardware and software configurations and support
Experience with data replication, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work in a teaming environment
Ability to coach others, manage scheduling, and facilitate major incident calls with support teams and client representatives
