A company is looking for a Senior Programmer to develop, test, and maintain software applications, with a focus on interactive multimedia courseware development across various user environments.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs using a variety of programming languages
Applies agile software development methodologies in developing courseware and is familiar with Navy MELD
Responsible for self-development and keeping the work area neat and orderly to ensure safety
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
A minimum of four (4) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience
May require a government clearance
Familiarity with JavaScript, JQuery Core API, JSON, XML, ReST protocol, HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th editions
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office
