A company is looking for a Senior Technical Accountant to join their accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Assess new and amended lease contracts for compliance with ASC 842
Prepare GL entries and document month-end closing activities for various accounts
Assist with SEC and statutory financial reporting, including preparing 10-Q and 10-K footnotes
Required Qualifications
Accounting degree
2-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
CPA preferred or a planned path to obtain CPA license
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
Desire to continuously learn and improve skills and knowledge
