Overview:

Standard Bank is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consultant, Cash (Level 1) to join the team in Bloemfontein, Brandwag. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle all cash-related transactions including walk-in clients and ATM operations, while ensuring exceptional client service and adherence to bank policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all cash-related matters for walk-in clients and ATM services.
  • Accurately assess client needs and deliver appropriate solutions in line with policy.
  • Perform cash reconciliation and ensure secure cash handling at all times.
  • Assist with bulk cash transactions and support the branch in cash-related operations.
  • Provide frontline client service, maintaining professionalism and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

  • NQF Level 5 or equivalent qualification is essential.

Experience Required:

  • 1–2 years of experience in branch banking.
  • Experience in personal and private banking client coverage.
  • Familiarity with teller operations and cash management procedures.
  • Strong understanding of legal aspects related to cash handling.
  • Experience in customer service and relationship management.
  • Knowledge of different departments and operational procedures within a bank.
  • Proficiency in banking software and cash systems.
