Most of us have been there. You walk into a conference room for a big presentation and immediately find yourself fighting with a mess of black cables, looking for a dongle that isn’t there, or trying to figure out which input the remote uses. Meanwhile, the people joining online are stuck in a digital waiting room, looking at a frozen screen or the back of someone’s head.

As hybrid work became the norm, the tech we use for it got way too complicated. For a long time, the industry standard was that more equipment meant better meetings. Companies filled rooms with multi-part wall bars, switching systems, and external control panels. But real collaboration is about people talking to each other, not how many gadgets are in the room.
