Overview:
Transnet Freight Rail is appointing Flagmen to provide on-track protection and ensure the safety of employees and railway operations during construction and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9 with at least 3 months relevant experience
- Valid Flagman certificate
- Medically fit
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-track protection duties
- Assist with maintenance of flagman equipment
- Report safety deviations
- Maintain safe working relationships within the team
