A company is looking for a Managing Editor for a contract position.
Key Responsibilities
Editing content end-to-end, evaluating against client goals, performing copy editing, and managing revisions
Educating on project goals, brand knowledge, and content objectives
Communicating with contributors, resolving revisions, and executing editorial strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum 3 years of developmental editing and content strategy experience
Experience managing freelancers or external content production roles
Expert knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style and Associated Press Stylebook
Completion of an editing test (30 min max)
