A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired for K-12 students with mild to moderate visual impairments.
Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and effective virtual instruction to students
Conducting assessments to evaluate students’ visual impairments and educational needs
Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
Qualifications:
Certification or endorsement as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Prior experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
Familiarity with IEPs and the ability to develop and implement them effectively
Proficiency in using digital platforms for remote instruction
A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired students
