A company is looking for a Digital Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide remote instruction and support to K-12 students with mild to moderate visual impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and effective virtual instruction to visually impaired students
Conducting assessments to evaluate students’ visual impairments and educational needs
Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
Required Qualifications:
Certification or endorsement as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Prior experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Proficiency in using digital platforms for remote instruction
A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired students
