We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at the Delivery Station in Mulgrave, VIC. As an Area Manager, you will play a critical role in leading a team of associates, maintaining high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.
The role involves:
- Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates
- Leading by example with empathy
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards and promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site
- Collaborating with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
- Performing physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching varying weights
You will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, working to continuously improve delivery processes, ensuring customer orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Physical ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience
